Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the UGSMS platform operated by Universal Grid SMC Ltd., you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use our services.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

3. Use of Services

You may use UGSMS to send SMS messages for lawful purposes only.
You must not send spam, unsolicited messages, or any content that violates applicable laws.
You must not use our platform to send fraudulent, threatening, harassing, or illegal content.
You are solely responsible for the content of the messages you send.

4. Credits & Payments

UGSMS operates on a prepaid credit model. Credits are purchased in advance and deducted per SMS sent. Pricing is volume-based: 50 UGX per SMS for 1–500 messages, 45 UGX for 501–2,000, and 40 UGX for 2,001+ per send. Credit balances do not expire.

5. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high uptime, but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. SMS delivery depends on third-party carrier networks and may be affected by factors outside our control.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, and software on the UGSMS platform are owned by Universal Grid SMC Ltd. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of our platform without prior written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

UGSMS is provided "as is." We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to message delivery failures or data loss.

8. Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in illegal activity, or misuse the platform. Remaining credits may be forfeited upon termination for cause.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Uganda.
